I have been passionate about art and collecting since taking my first Art History course in high school. I focused on Art History throughout my undergraduate and graduate careers earning a BA and MA in Art History from the University of Georgia.
I continued to gain practical skills in cataloguing and curating art through internships at the Georgia Museum of Art, the High Museum of Art, and the Saint Louis Art Museum. I went on to hold positions and gain professional experience at Sotheby's, the Ackland Art Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Leland Little Auctions. I lived in Hong Kong and Singapore for seven years, where I was able to indulge my love for art and exploring new cultures through extensive travel.
I moved back to my hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2014 to raise my three sons and spend time with my family.
